SUSPENDED CEILING COMPONENTS
Below are pictures and descriptions of the necessary components to create an insulated panel suspended ceiling. Due to liability concerns we will not be offering these components for sale online. If you are interested in more information on insulated panel suspended ceilings and/or purchasing the necessary components, please call Curt Gallup at 320.234.6953 for additional details.
Ceiling Bar Joist Clamp
The bar joist clamp is designed to securely lock the suspended ceiling assembly to the metal bar joist support bracket. To accomplish this the bar joist clamp is tightened to the support beam by tightening the 3/8" bolt and locking in place with the 9/16" nut assembly.
Stainless Steel Eye-coupler
The stainless steel eye-coupler is designed to connect the metal all-thread support to the structural support "T". This piece of hardware is tightened to the end of the metal all-thread and bolted to the aluminum support "T" using a 3/8" bolt, lock washer & nut assembly.
Galvanized Metal All-Thread
The galvanized metal all-thread is designed to bear the load of the suspended ceiling. All metal all-thread is matched to exceed designed load specifications.
Aluminum Support "T"
The aluminum support "T" is designed to withstand the load of the insulated panel ceiling. Panels are secured to the "T" using white self-tapping screws and foam-in-place urethane insulation. All suspended ceilings constructed by Food Industry Maintenance Services are trimmed and caulk sealed from above as well as below.
Fully assembled joist clamp photo
This photo depicts the fully assembled joist clamp assembly along with the aluminum ceiling "T". In fully assembled suspended ceiling system the eye coupler would be attached to the aluminum "T" by drilling a 3/8" hole through the "T" and attached using a 3/8" bolt, lock washer and nut.
